AUDITIONS POSTED:  Thoroughly Modern Millie! 

Friday April 2, 7-9pm.

Vocal auditions sat April 3. 11-1 followed by dance auditions

For students in grades 9 through college. 

Please prepare 32 measures from a Broadway Show and bring sheet in the key you will be singing.

Saturday you will learn a short dance combination so dress to move.
Please bring tap shoes if you have them

Special thanks to all that participated in Annie and made our winter show a great success.

Come see us in the historic Arcada Theatre and experience the magic of a live musical theatre performance. Rising Star Theatreworks has kept our ticket prices affordable so that everyone in the community has the opportunity to see this heartwarming story performed by talented youth from your community including Aurora, Batavia, Elburn, Geneva, St. Charles, Sugar Grove, Wayne, Wheaton and more.

Rising Star Theatreworks:

is a non-profit 501(c)(3) community theatre organization providing opportunities for children, teens and young adults to perform quality live theatre productions in the Tri-Cities and surrounding communities.

We exist to:

  • Empower young people with the life skills to be productive members of the community through their involvement in live theatrical productions.  These life skills include public speaking, time management, self-discipline, and teamwork.
  • Train young people in the performance arts to help round out their education, enrich their lives, and build healthy self-esteem.
  • Promote the interaction of children, teens, and young adults in an atmosphere of mutual respect, tolerance and appreciation for one another regardless of religion, race, creed, or disability while encouraging their creativity and teaching theatre skills.
  • Provide affordable live theatre entertainment for the community
