Alice in Wonderland Jr." is a delightful adaptation of Lewis Carroll's timeless tale, specifically tailored for younger performers. This musical journey down the rabbit hole follows Alice as she encounters whimsical characters like the White Rabbit, Cheshire Cat, and Mad Hatter in a fantastical world filled with adventure and absurdity. The show captures the essence of Carroll's original story while making it accessible and engaging for young audiences and performers alike. Lewis Carroll, the pen name of Charles Lutwidge Dodgson, first penned "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" in 1865. His inspiration came from entertaining the three daughters of his friend, Henry Liddell, during a boat trip on the Thames River. The story's blend of imagination, wordplay, and curious characters continues to captivate generations, making it a persistent favorite in both literature and theater. This captivating experience is tailored for individuals aged 8 to 8th grade. Spaces are limited, ensuring a personalized experience for each participant. To embark on this journey, auditions are required. A registration fee of $250 is due. Attendance at rehearsals is crucial, ensuring the cohesiveness of the production. Rehearsals are scheduled on Mondays at 7:00-8;30 PM & Fridays 4:30-6:30 PM at Elite Studios. The grand performances are set for November 21st, 22nd and 23rd at Shelley High School. There will be additional rehearsals in October which will be announced in advance, 2 Saturdays & some extra evenings. There will be no practice on Labor Day. Leading/Principal roles necessitate a full commitment and attendance to all rehearsals. Please note that accommodating scheduling conflicts with other productions may not be feasible, please pre communicate this ASAP.
